Sean Anders takes the reins on the Horrible Bosses franchise and does a pretty good job in delivering an even crazier sequel! Dale (Charlie Day), Nick (Jason Bateman), and Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) are back together trying to let go of the bosses in their lives by starting up their very own business. This brings itself a new corporate enemy and his crazy son Rex (Chris Pine) who looks to stand in their way of success.
With the return of Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Spacey, this film is jam packed with non-stop one-liners, sexual innuendos, and hilarious twists and turns which keeps the audience laughing throughout.
Although the story and in my opinion the film is not as good as the first film, it is a very good follow up and Chris Pine in particular, steals the show for me, taking his cool sarcastic comedy we see in the likes of Star Trek and This Means War to new heights. This film is definitely worth a watch!
Recommendation: Great film for a date night or just laugh with the friends – therefore worthy of a cinema visit, but it’s not like you’re missing out on any special effects and epic scenes if you do wait for it on DVD!
