Everlasting (2015) Trailer Review

Anthony Stabley and the team at Super Grande Films got in contact with us about reviewing the trailer for their upcoming, crime and mystery drama film EVERLASTING, and I was not prepared for how great this trailer would actually be. Only sadly due for a US release at the end of October, this trailer teases us with the dark, sexy and haunting story of how “darkness can take over your life, even when you think you have it under control.”

“A High School Filmmaker travels to Los Angeles to confront the man who murdered his girlfriend.”

To me, this film looks intense, exciting and very frightening at points. It seems to take the blissful concept of young love and turn it on its head with a twisted tale of lies, fame and ultimately death, thereby converting it into an original story of unconditional love and the power it has in overcoming the darkness.

Supported by the likes of Richard Middleton (Producer of Oscar winning THE ARTIST), the characters seem so relatable and “real” that I think that this film will register with many youngsters across America and hopefully parents as well. Adam David and Valentina De Angelis’ look perfectly cast from only having seen nearly 2 minutes of footage, and they are also backed by a great supporting cast including the likes of Elisabeth Röhm (LAW & ORDER, AMERICAN HUSTLE) and Michael Massee (SUPERNATURAL, SEVEN, THE CROW) to name a few.

I believe that this film has the potential to be an independent classic, delving into a variety of genres and suiting a Halloween release! I wish Anthony, the cast and Super Grande Films all the best for the release of this film and I look forward to sitting back and appreciating the masterpiece!
